Back to Skin is a fragrance-free, biphasic make-up remover that removes make-up, sunscreen and daily impurities from the face and eyes in one gentle motion. The biphasic formula combines an oil and a water phase – shake before use to mix both layers. The oil phase dissolves make-up, sunscreen and excess sebum. The water phase hydrates and soothes the skin without leaving a greasy film. Gentle on the skin barrier, without residue.

Instructions for use.

Shake well before each use to mix the oil and water phases.

Apply to a reusable cotton pad and gently wipe over face and eyes. For waterproof eye makeup, gently press the cotton pad onto closed eyelids for a few seconds before wiping.

No rinsing required. Suitable for use morning and evening. Safe for use around the delicate skin around the eyes - avoid direct eye contact.

Shake

Gently shake the bottle to mix the oil and water phases. The formula will transform from two visible layers into a single milky emulsion.

Apply to a cotton pad

Soak a reusable cotton pad with the formula. No need to rub hard - the bi-phase formula does the work for you.

Cleaning

Gently wipe over face and eyes. For waterproof eye make-up, press the cotton pad onto closed eyelids for a few seconds before wiping. Rinsing is not necessary.

How does the two-phase system work?

The bi-phase formula consists of an oil phase and a water phase. Shake the product before use so that both layers mix. The oil phase helps dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and excess sebum. The water phase hydrates and soothes the skin. Together, they provide clean, soft, and comfortable skin, without leaving a greasy feeling.

If the product is fragrance-free, why does it still smell?

Fragrance-free means there are no added perfumes or synthetic fragrances in the formula. Any faint smells you notice come from the botanical ingredients, such as: Aloe vera, Chamomile, Sea Buckthorn, Fruit extracts. These natural aromas are subtle and are part of the botanical ingredients themselves, not added fragrances.

Can I use it around my eyes?

Yes, the formula is gentle enough for the delicate skin around the eyes. However, avoid direct contact with the eyes. For sensitive eyes: Apply the product to a cotton pad. Gently press onto the skin to loosen makeup. Then, gently wipe clean.

Should I rinse it off?

No rinsing is needed. The formula leaves no greasy film or residue after wiping, so one swipe with a cotton pad is enough to leave the skin feeling clean and comfortable. If you prefer to rinse with lukewarm water afterwards, that's fine, but it is not necessary for the product to be effective.
